Folk Alliance Founder Elaine Weissman Dies

Elaine Weissman longtime head of the California Traditional Music Society and one of the founders of the Folk Alliance passed away Friday, Feburary 4, 2005, after a long and courageous fight with cancer.

People who knew Elaine are invited to contribute their memories of her to an interactive memorial on the CTMS web site.
