Singer-songwriter Rachel Bissex died of cancer at her home in Burlington Vermont on Sunday February 23. She was 48. She was the beloved wife of playwright Stephen Goldberg, mother of Emma Goldberg, Matthew Cosgrove and stepmother of Jonas Goldberg, and sister of Karl, Walter, Donald and Paul Bissex.
A scholarship fund has been established for her children Emma and Matt. Checks should be mailed to Merchants Bank, 164 College Street, Burlington VT 05401. Make checks payable to Bissex College Fund, Account #01827674.
