Folkstreams.net hosts documentary films on American folk culture. These documentaries that have a hard time finding a commercial audience but they will probably be of interest to a lot of readers here. The offerings are diverse and inclued profiles of individuals, such as Arthur “Peg Leg Sam” Jackson - the last black medicne show performer and John E. “Frail” Joines was a master tale teller from Wilkes County, N. C. as well as broader pieces such as one on Finish culture in the upper pennisula of Michigan and one on Creoles in Lousiana.

Well worth checking out.
