Happy Birthday
Two long running folk venues are turning 30 this year. The Minstrel Coffee House in Morristown NJ. will celebrate its thirtieth with a series of events the last weekend in July.
Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem, PA will be celebrating throughout the fall by presenting many long time favorite performers and regulars as well as issuing a special CD live recordings of past concerts.
Thirty years is quite an accomplishment for any venu. But especially one run on volunteer efforts. Trust me I know a bit about this. Thats a whole heap of hours, sweat and tears it keep putting the music out there.
