Le Vent Du Nord Named For Best Of Bound For Glory Award
Between sets of Pat Wictor’s show on the October 16 live broadcast of WVBR’s Bound For Glory, host and founder Phil Shapiro announced the winner of the seventh annual BEST OF BOUND FOR GLORY AWARD. This year’s winner is the Quebecois phenomenon, Le Vent du Nord.
The award is voted on by members of the Friends of Bound for Glory, chosen from the recently concluded 38th season of this Sunday night staple of Central New York Radio. The Bound for Glory radio show, North America’s longest running live folk concert broadcast, can be heard Sunday nights from 8 to 11 on Ithaca’s WVBR-FM, 93.5 and 105.5, or on line at http://wvbr.com/.
