I worked with Janet in Bucky Fuller’s Philadelphia office during the 1970s. One summer, possibly in 1973 or 1974, Janet and her partner Peter, Bob Kahn, who also worked in Bucky’s office, and I all drove from Philadelphia to Sunset, on Deer Isle, Maine, in Bucky’s 1972 Subaru wagon. Bucky had a house in Sunset for his wife Anne, who did not care much for the rustic conditions on Bear Island, which was just off Deer Isle. We went there to paint some of house, hangout and visit with Bucky who spent every August on Bear Island. I’ll never forget that trip and I’ll never forget Janet. I am so sorry to have learned about her passing.
