Over at O’Reilly Digital Media Mark Nelson reviews the M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 Pocket Digital Recorder. A pocket sized (4.3 x 2.2 x 1.12″, 4.9oz) sub $500 audio recorder. Nelson concludes that while the Micro Track is not without it’s problems ” …the MicroTrack 24/96 is a solid choice for someone looking for a lightweight field recorder for documenting rehearsals, capturing live performances at festivals and workshops, recording podcast interviews, etc. Because it’s so small, you could keep it handy to capture song ideas or band riffs whenever inspiration strikes.” O’Reilly: Review: M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 Pocket Digital Recorder
