According to online bluegrass magazine Cybergrass, Louise Scruggs, 78, wife and business partner of bluegrass music legend and Hall of Fame member Earl Scruggs, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2006 due to respiratory complications. She had been in poor health suffering from bronchitis and other respiratory problems for several months.
