Sonic Pollutions Blog has a nice profile of Pentangle the British folk rock band that brought together Jacqui McShee, John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, Danny Thompson bass and Terry Cox. A Light Flight With The Pentangle in 1971. The video download linked at the end of the article requires a procedure that seems a bit arcane. It does work however if you have the patience and the necessary bandwidth.

In the Stagger Lee Files James P. Hauser explores the history and the myth behind the bad man’s bad man Stagger Lee.

Blues Row is a relatively new (I think) web log about all things related to the blues.
