The International Folk Music and Dance Alliance has announced the winners of its industry awards for 2006. The Awards were presented at the Alliance’s 18th annual conference which took place February 10th through 14th in Austin Texas.

‘Elaine Weissman Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Tom Paxton, Clifton Chenier, and Kenneth Goldstein.

For the first time the alliance also presented annual achievement awards voted by it’s membership.
