Travis Edmonson of Bud and Travis, has been in the hospital the past two weeks after a fall that broke his hip. The hip repair operation was a success but was followed by a seizure.
Edmonson who has been fighting parkinsons disease for years is currently in rehab and hopes to be home by the weekend. Well wishes can be sent to getwelltravis@aol.com.
During the late fifties and early sixties Bud (Dashiel) and Travis made ten records and hundreds of appearances around the country. While not as well remembered as some acts of the era their musicianship is highly regarded and their influence on later artists is widely acknowledged.
