Wagon Wheel Gang Releases Debut CD

Headed up by Miami blues drummer, ex-trapeze artist, current banjo player and general odd character. Big Donald Lutton, The Wagon Wheel Gang is an ever-growing, eclectic group of artists from diverse musical backgrounds with the common goal of spreading joy through music.

Members of the Wagon Wheel Gang have been known to congregate and perform at picnics, beaches, rodeos, campfires, hootenannies, farms, crowded vehicles on long family trips, docks, porches, barns, back yards, cook outs, ranches, church bazaars, ice cream parlors, bait shops, old folks’ homes and anyplace the magic of music can be appreciated even if only by the performers themselves.

The full length CD features Big Donald on banjo and drums and over a dozen other fine musicians signing and playing instruments like guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bass (upright and washtub), Jew’s harp, trombone, rub board, ukulele, harmonica and more. Americana, roots-grass, honky tonk, whatever you want to call it, it is better described as a boot stompin’, beer guzzlin’ party for your ears.

Contributing artists include: Jumpin’ Johnny Sansone (award winning bluesman from New Orleans)
Deblois Milledge
Bob Plesset (Swing From The Hip)
Chris DeAngelis (18 Wheelers)
Will Thomas
