Some quick notes on recent news…

WFCR in Amherst Massachusetts has canceled long running folk show Valley Folk. The last show will air January 20th.

Record label Sugar Hill is moving to Nashville and laying off most of it’s 9 employees. Article in The News and Observer via Coolfer

RIP ‘Sneaky’ Pete Kleinow pedal steel guitarist and one of the founders of The Flying Burrito Brothers. Obituary in the Austin American Statesman.
