I’m really excited to announce that after more than a year of silence the Back Porch News has a new owner!!

Sharon Lundsford is taking over editorial duties at the “news” as of today and over the next couple of months the site and email list will be moved to her web hosting account. Sharon is a fan of the kinds of music covered here, has lots of ideas for moving the site forward and is looking forward to getting more involved with the folk music community. Please make her welcome.

Thanks to all of you for reading over the last few years and especially thanks to all of you who’ve been patiently waiting for something to happen while I was trying to find someone to take over. I’ll see you around, at a festival or concert somewhere. Keep picking and singing.
