The 2009 Moab Folk Camp gets underway in a few weeks. Held in Moab, Utah November 1-6, the camp offers six days of musical instruction and interaction including classes in voice (solo and harmony), guitar, harmonica, mandolin, songwriting and even outdoor art. Instructors include singer Sloan Wainwright, guitarist Brooks Williams, singer and guitarist Keith Little, singer/songwriter Cosy Sheridan, guitarist and harmonica player TR Ritchie, mandolinist Eric Jones and artist Chad Niehaus.
The Folk Camp precedes the Moab Folk Festival, which takes place November 6-8. Performers include The Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, Corinne West, Darol Anger, Charley Simmons and many others. See the festival site for details.
